MOSCOW, Oct 24 (PRIME) -- Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has signed a ruling to allocate 1 billion rubles to create small and medium-sized centers of design of electronic, microelectronic, and radio electronic devices in 2022–2023, according to the document released on the government’s website on Monday.
“The new centers are supposed to develop…telecommunications equipment as well as medical equipment and automobile electronics,” the document read.
One of the vectors of financing will be the launch of ready-made products on the priority markets.
The government’s decision will not only stimulate replacement of imported radio electronic equipment but will also ensure technological independence “in the key segments of the electronic industry.”
The country will have at least 100 centers of design of electronic, microelectronic, and radio electronic devices by 2030.
